The Nigerian Forest Safety Service (NFSS) has appointed Saifullahi Muhammed because the Zonal Commander for the North West Zone.
Muhammed, a local of Kano Municipal Native Authorities Space in Kano State, formally assumed workplace on January 13, 2025.
His appointment was authorized by the Commander Basic of the NFSS, Ambassador Osatimeh Joshua, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, AIG (Rtd) E. E. Amakulor, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6, Subsections A and B of the NFSS Structure.
In his acceptance speech, Muhammed stated, “It’s an honor to be entrusted with this accountability. I’m devoted to bettering the actions of the Nigerian Forest Safety Service within the North West Zone and can work tirelessly alongside all related stakeholders to make sure Nigeria turns into a safer and higher place for all.”
As Zonal Commander, Muhammed will concentrate on strengthening safety operations, fostering collaboration with native communities, and dealing intently with safety companies to deal with the area’s challenges.
