Nigerian human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has stated she has no confidence within the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC), to ship a reputable election in 2027.
That is as she suggested Nigerians to take their destinies into their fingers and guarantee their votes are counted and entered for his or her candidates.
Talking to journalists on the sidelines of the Ladies Summit, organised by Shield the Earlier Foundation in Umuahia, Abia State, Aisha Yesufu dismissed expectation of any reform forward of 2027, saying “nothing has been put in place.”
“The one factor that continues to be is for Nigerians”, based on her, “to grasp that as they go into 2027, that no matter elections we’re doing is a combat for our lives as a result of on the finish of the day, individuals are dying from dangerous governance, from the corruption that is occurring, from the shortage of proper insurance policies.
“And if this is the case, it’s not village individuals, it’s not enemies, he added.
