The Lagos Waste Administration Authority (LAWMA) on Monday introduced a strategic partnership with the United Nations Industrial Improvement Organisation (UNIDO) and the Meals and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA) to advertise sustainable plastic waste administration and set up 4 plastic recycling hubs throughout Lagos.
This was disclosed in an announcement signed by Mrs. Folashade Kadiri, Director, Public Affairs, LAWMA.
The partnership falls below the UNIDO Undertaking 210184, titled: “Selling Sustainable Plastic Worth Chains via Round Financial system Practices,” and is funded by the Authorities of Japan.
In accordance with the assertion, the initiative seeks to strengthen Nigeria’s capability for inclusive and sustainable industrial growth by addressing plastic air pollution at its supply.
