    President Tinubu sacks service chiefs, appoints new army management

    President Bola Tinubu has sacked a number of high army officers in a significant reshuffle geared toward strengthening Nigeria’s nationwide safety structure.

    The disclosure was contained in a press release by Sunday Dare, Particular Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication. The modifications take quick impact.

    Normal Olufemi Oluyede has been appointed as the brand new Chief of Defence Staff, changing Normal Christopher Musa. Main-Normal W. Shaibu was named Chief of Army Staff, Air Vice Marshal S.Ok. Aneke is the brand new Chief of Air Staff, and Rear Admiral I. Abbas takes over as Chief of Naval Staff. Chief of Defence Intelligence Main-Normal E.A.P. Undiendeye retains his place.

    “President Bola Tinubu has made modifications within the hierarchy of the Service Chiefs in furtherance of the efforts of the Federal Authorities of Nigeria to strengthen the nationwide safety structure.

    “The President appointed Normal Olufemi Oluyede to interchange Normal Christopher Musa as the brand new Chief of Defence Staff.

    “The brand new Chief of Army Staff is Main-Normal W. Shaibu. Air Vice Marshall S.Ok Aneke is Chief of Air Staff whereas Rear Admiral I. Abbas is the brand new Chief of Naval Staff. Chief of Defence Intelligence Main-Normal E.A.P Undiendeye retains his place,” the assertion learn partially.

    President Tinubu expressed his profound appreciation to the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff and different service chiefs for his or her devoted service and management. He tasked the newly appointed officers with upholding the boldness positioned in them by strengthening professionalism, vigilance, and teamwork throughout the armed forces.
