The Lagos State Police Command on Saturday stated the operatives of the Speedy Response Squad (RRS) recovered 75 cell devices and 5 laptops deserted by fleeing suspects throughout a routine patrol carried out in Ikeja.
Based on an announcement issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the restoration adopted the interception of two suspects who deserted two giant “Ghana Should Go” baggage upon sighting police operatives close to Allen Roundabout, Ikeja.
Adebisi added that the operation was a part of ongoing efforts to strengthen safety and fight property crimes throughout the state.
“On Sunday, fifth October, 2025, at about 5:30 a.m., operatives inspected the luggage and found 32 iPhones of various fashions, 38 different smartphones of varied manufacturers corresponding to Samsung, Redmi, Tecno, and Honour, in addition to 5 laptops, a number of sensible wristwatches, AirPods, a Samsung Tab, and a Sorapad.”

Talking on the restoration, the Commander of the RRS, CSP Shola Jejeloye, stated, “Preliminary investigation signifies that the gadgets had been stolen property hurriedly deserted by the suspects.”
“Members of the general public who might have misplaced comparable gadgets are suggested to go to the RRS Headquarters, Alausa, with verifiable proof of possession for correct identification and reclaim,” the assertion learn
Additionally, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Moshood Jimoh, counseled the RRS operatives for his or her vigilance and professionalism, reaffirming the command’s dedication to intelligence-led policing and proactive crime prevention.
