Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has distributed 4,691 luggage of fertiliser to main, secondary and Tsangaya college academics throughout 13 LGAs of Kano North Senatorial District.
The distribution train, held on the Sharada Industrial Space in Kano, is a part of Senator Barau’s ongoing efforts to enrich the Federal Authorities’s drive towards the attainment of meals sufficiency within the nation.
Talking on the occasion by way of his Chief of Workers, Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdallah, Senator Barau said that the initiative was designed to empower academics, recognising their vital position in societal growth.
“Not too long ago, we distributed over 40,000 luggage of fertiliser to farmers throughout Kano State. As we speak, we’re extending this intervention to our clerics, Tsangaya academics, principals of secondary colleges, and headmasters of main colleges,” he stated.

Expressing gratitude, Musa Auwalu Gwarzo, Chairman of the Headmasters Affiliation within the space, recommended Senator Barau for the intervention, describing him as “a frontrunner for all.”
