The Presidency has suggested politicians forming a coalition towards the second-term ambition of President Bola Tinubu to shelve their hopes for 2027 and as an alternative put together for the 2031 basic election when Tinubu would have accomplished his second time period in workplace.
Presidential spokesman, Sunday Dare, issued this recommendation on Saturday in Abuja whereas reacting to considerations over the potential of the rising coalition to wrest energy from the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led authorities.
Dare dismissed the coalition as a “purely opportunistic gathering of disgruntled politicians,” claiming that none of its members matched Tinubu’s democratic credentials or achievements over the previous two years.
