A distinguished member of the Individuals’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State, Ibrahim Ali Amin (Little), has resigned from the celebration, citing unresolved management crises and a breakdown of inside democracy.
In a resignation letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of Tudun Wada Ward in Nassarawa Native Authorities Space, Amin stated his resolution takes impact instantly.
“I want to formally inform you of my resolution to resign my membership of the Individuals’s Democratic Party (PDP) with instant impact,” the letter learn.
Amin, a long-time member of the PDP, expressed frustration over the state of the celebration, saying it’s not functioning as a cohesive political platform.
“The endless disaster arising from management tussles has severely undermined and destroyed the inner cohesion required for the celebration to progress,” he wrote.
He additional pointed to what he described because the celebration’s failure to uphold inside democracy and its founding rules.
“The shortage of respect for inside democracy and disrespect for the rules upon which the celebration was based have made it unimaginable for me to proceed to affiliate with the PDP in good conscience,” Amin said.
He disclosed that he’s now becoming a member of a coalition motion, which he says is aimed toward rebuilding the nation and selling real democracy.
“I’ve carefully determined to withdraw my membership of the PDP and to hitch the coalition motion dedicated to saving our nation and restoring real democratic values,” he added.
