Two girls have been killed in a latest flood catastrophe in Wovi Neighborhood of Damboa Native Authorities Space (LGA) of Borno, whereas a number of homes have been destroyed in Rumirgo, Askira Uba LGA, displacing a number of households.
In an announcement, Dauda Iliya, the spokesperson to the Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, prolonged his principal’s sympathy to the victims and their households.
In line with Iliya, Governor Zulum has directed the rapid launch of reduction supplies to affected communities in Damboa and Askira Uba LGAs.

The event is coming lower than a 12 months after a lethal flood submerged communities in Borno, killing scores of individuals and washing away properties, farmlands, amongst others.
