    Ogun Police Urge Calm As 32 Cattle Die After Thunderstorm

    A wierd incident unsettled residents of Osara neighborhood in Odeda Native Authorities Space of Ogun State on Saturday, June 21, when 32 cows have been discovered lifeless in a forest following a torrential downpour accompanied by thunder and lightning.

    Based on a press release from the Ogun State Police Command, the incident was reported round 4:40 p.m. by two herders liable for the livestock.

    The herders, who lodged the report on the Aregbe Divisional Police Headquarters, mentioned they believed the cows have been struck by lightning in the course of the storm earlier within the day.

    Following the report, the Divisional Police Officer led a workforce to the positioning for a right away on-the-spot evaluation. The animals have been found mendacity lifeless in scattered positions, with no seen indicators of bodily accidents or foul play.

    Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, reiterated the Command’s dedication to sustaining peace and order, assuring the general public that the scenario was beneath management.
