The Nigerian Meteorological Company (NiMet) has warned of seemingly thunderstorms and rainfall in most components of Nigeria between Sunday, June 9, and Tuesday, June 11, 2025.
The alert, contained in NiMet’s climate outlook launched on Saturday in Abuja, forecasts a moist begin to the week, with heavy downpours anticipated within the North, North-Central, and Southern components of the nation.
“Within the afternoon/night hours, there are prospects of thunderstorms with rains over components of Taraba, Adamawa, Katsina, Kano, Zamfara, Kaduna, Jigawa, Borno, Gombe and Bauchi.
