Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has donated N100 million in help of wounded troopers and the households of officers killed within the ongoing counter-insurgency operations within the state.
The governor made the donation on Saturday whereas being collectively hosted by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, at Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri.
Zulum was mentioned to have offered a cheque for N100 million to the Theatre Commander, Operation Hadin Kai, Maj.-Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar.
