    Former Kano State gubernatorial candidate and media aide to ex-Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, has commented on latest political developments involving Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, chief of the New Nigeria Individuals’s Party (NNPP), stating that solely Kwankwaso determines his political path.

    Tanko Yakasai made the feedback on his Fb web page hours after Senator Kwankwaso denied the hearsay about his political stance.

    “Whether or not you [Kwankwaso] be part of the APC beneath Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, otherwise you be part of the coalition beneath Atiku Abubakar, otherwise you stick with greens within the NNPP — the choice lies with the chief.”

    His remark adopted Kwankwaso’s denial of experiences claiming he rejected an invite from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

    A viral story had circulated on social media claiming that the previous Kano governor rebuffed Tinubu’s strategy, allegedly saying he would “relatively give up politics solely than return to the APC.”

    Nonetheless, Kwankwaso, in a swift rebuttal posted on his verified Fb web page, dismissed the claims as false and malicious.

    “My consideration has been drawn to an announcement purportedly stating my place on the recurring political realignments in Nigeria. I want to categorically state that such statements are false, unfounded, and the merchandise of political mischief,” he wrote.

    The NNPP chief additional clarified that he had intentionally chosen to remain silent on present political realignments and had no intention of fixing that stance.

    “I’ve kept away from commenting on up to date political occasions, and I’ll proceed to take action in the interim,” he added.

    He urged the general public and the media to deal with solely data from his verified social media accounts and official channels as genuine.

    “On this regard, I urge the general public to solely interact with statements that come from my public handles and different official sources,” Kwankwaso concluded.
