    The Kano State Police Command has rescued a 75-year-old kidnapped sufferer, Abdulrahman Yunusa, and arrested one suspect following a raid on a legal hideout in Bagau City, Bebeji Native Authorities Space.

    Based on a press release by Police Public Relations Officer SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the operation was performed by the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad primarily based on “foolproof intelligence.”

    The sufferer, a local of Maigana in Soba Native Authorities Space of Kaduna State, was kidnapped from his house on Might 3, 2025. His captors demanded a ransom of ₦20,000,000.
