The operatives of the Nationwide Company for the Prohibition of Trafficking Individuals (NAPTIP) on Friday rescued a two-year-old woman trafficked from Abuja to Aba, Abia State, for N100,000.
In line with a press release issued by the company, the suspect, arrested by the Division of State Companies (DSS), allegedly bought her for ₦100,000.
This was because the NAPTIP known as on the organic mother and father or any relations of the kid to urgently contact the Company.

The assertion learn, “A 2-year-old woman, renamed Chiamaka Favour (alias), who was trafficked from Abuja to Aba in February 2025, has been rescued by NAPTIP Abia Command on Might 8, 2025.
“The suspected trafficker, arrested by DSS Abia and handed over to NAPTIP, is alleged to have labored with three trafficking syndicates from Abuja and bought the kid to a purchaser for ₦100,000. Investigations are ongoing.”
