The Nigeria Police Drive (NPF) has expressed deep concern over a disturbing video that has been circulating on social media, displaying law enforcement officials allegedly receiving cash from a Chinese language nationwide.
In response, the Drive has condemned the actions depicted, describing them as “unprofessional and unethical.”
A press release issued by the Drive Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, clarified that such habits is opposite to the requirements, ethics, and core values that the Nigeria Police Drive upholds.
“The actions of the officers within the video don’t symbolize the established ethics, requirements, and core values of the Nigeria Police Drive,” the assertion learn. “The Drive has zero tolerance for such unprofessional behaviour and different types of misconduct, which undermine public belief and confidence.”
The officers concerned within the incident have already been recognized and are present process disciplinary procedures, because the Drive seeks to deal with the state of affairs decisively.
Moreover, the Nigeria Police Drive cautioned each people and organizations who have interaction the providers of law enforcement officials—reminiscent of escorts, guards, or different specialised providers—towards any actions that might injury the popularity and integrity of the Drive.
