President Bola Tinubu has permitted an extension of the tenure of Kemi Nandap, Comptroller-Basic of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), till December 31, 2026.
The announcement was made on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Particular Adviser to the President on Info and Technique.
Nandap, who joined the NIS in 1989, was appointed as Comptroller-Basic on March 1, 2024. Her tenure was initially set to run out in August 2025 earlier than the current extension.
