A Chief Justice of the Peace Courtroom in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, has remanded one Insp Effiong Bassey, in a correctional facility for taking pictures useless a retired police officer’s spouse and injuring two others.
Bassey was ordered to be remanded by Chief Justice of the Peace Mercy Ene led courtroom throughout his arraignment yesterday. The Inspector was remanded following an exparte movement introduced earlier than the courtroom by SP Otu Ubangah, authorized officer accountable for the state Police command.
Ubangah stated that the exparte movement turned obligatory because the courtroom awaits the recommendation from the state Lawyer Basic. The SP instructed the courtroom that his utility was supported by a six paragraph affidavit and a written handle.
