The Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas (Rtd) has confirmed the “launch of Rivers State withheld allocations”, assuring residents of immediate fee of salaries, amongst different developmental tasks.
He made this identified on Friday whereas talking with Heads of Native Authorities Directors in Port Harcourt, in accordance with Channels Tv report.
The event is coming lower than 24 hours after the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi SAN, had at a State Home press briefing, backed the discharge of Rivers State allocation to the brand new administration following a state of emergency within the state.
When requested if the Federal Authorities would launch the allocation from the federation account to the brand new administration within the state, the Minister had stated it could be to ensure that the funds to be launched to the brand new administration, if the administrator requests for it.
