The Anambra State Police Command has rescued three kidnap victims alongside the Owerri-Onitsha Highway and arrested two suspected cultists and armed robbers at Abakaliki Avenue in Awka, the State capital.
Based on a press release by the Police Public Relations Officer, Tochukwu Ikenga, the Joint Safety Workforce, in a coordinated operation on March 22, 2025, at about 7:20 a.m., rescued three kidnapped victims alongside the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway in Ozubulu.
“The victims had been rushed to the hospital by the Joint Safety Workforce after sustaining numerous levels of accidents inflicted by the criminals.
“They’re presently responding to remedy and can be debriefed by the police subsequently,” the assertion learn.
