Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly referred to as Transportable, is at present within the custody of the Ogun State Police Command.
The spokesperson for the command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed this in an announcement yesterday. Earlier the singer, who was declared needed final week by the police, surrendered himself on the Lagos State Felony Investigation Division, Yaba.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that the Ogun command had been contacted to take custody of the singer.
“Transportable simply turned himself in on the SCID, Yaba. We have now contacted the Ogun State Police Command to return and choose him up,” Hundeyin acknowledged. Confirming his arrival, Odutola famous that the singer reached the command at 1:23 pm.
She mentioned: “The Ogun State Police Command needs to tell the general public that Habeeb Okikiola, also called Transportable, arrived on the State Felony Investigation Division, Eleweran, Abeokuta, at precisely 13:23 hours as we speak, February 19, 2025.
“His presence on the SCID is related to an ongoing investigation. The command assures the general public that due course of shall be adopted in dealing with this matter, and updates shall be supplied as essential.”
