Two folks have reportedly loss their lives in a gun powder explosion at a neighborhood market in Talata-Mafara Market, Zamfara State.
New Telegraph gathered that the incident, which occurred on Tuesday, prompted widespread panic as merchants and buyers scrambled for security within the busy market.
Based on a report, the explosion originated from a store dealing in regionally fabricated firearms.
Confirming the incident on Wednesday, the Chairman of Talata-Mafara Native Authorities, Yahaya Yari, acknowledged that the injured victims have been referred to Usman Danfodio College Instructing Hospital, Sokoto for medical remedy.
