A devastating hearth outbreak within the Satigal group, Bunkure Native Authorities Space of Kano State destroyed homes, cattle and 6 grain silos in Kano.
The incident which was reported to the Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr Muhammad Isa Umaru, at his palace on Wednesdat mentioned the midnight inferno was reportedly attributable to a cooking hearth left unattended by one of many affected households.
Based on village head Mal. Shuaibu Abdu, who led a delegation of group leaders, the hearth engulfed the whole resident housing six households, destroying items, grains, cattle and private belongings value hundreds of thousands of naira.
The Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru, expressed his sympathy to the victims and donated ₦200,000 to help them.
He additionally urged the group to train warning and be certain that cooking fires are extinguished instantly after use.
Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru has promised to report the incident to the Kano State Emergency Aid Administration Company for rapid help.
