Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have rescued three kidnapped victims, together with a police officer, who have been kidnapped whereas touring from Abuja to Onitsha in Anambra State The command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Yamu, stated the victims, ASP Elisha Jeremiah, Oyedele Ebenezer, and Useni Malam Inusa, have been rescued on Feb. 3.
He stated they have been rescued after a joint operation by the operatives of the Ubiaja Divisional Headquarters and different tactical groups.
In response to him, the group, appearing on intelligence, mobilised to the bushes round Ugbebor, the place they partnered with native hunters and vigilantes to trace down the abductors.
“The abductors deserted their victims and fled once they sensed that the operatives have been closing in on them. “The victims are presently receiving therapy and can quickly be reunited with their family members.
