Following the impeachment of the Lagos State Home of Meeting Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa by the state Meeting, the previous lawmaker representing Kaduna Central within the eighth Senate, Shehu Sani has issued 5 causes answerable for his impeachment.
New Telegraph had earlier reported that members of the State Meeting on Monday, impeached Obasa over alleged a number of statutory and monetary infractions.
Following his impeachment, the Deputy Speaker of the Home, Mojisola Meranda Ojora was subsequently elected as the brand new Speaker of the State Home of Meeting.
Reacting to the event through his verifed X deal with, Obasa might have been impeached for allegedly colluding with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s enemies, including that the previous Speaker might have been eliminated as a result of he was plotting an impeachment.
