An 82-year-old man, Mural Raimi who was declared lacking on Wednesday has been discovered useless in Lukaran Forest, Atikori, Ijebu-Igbo space of Ogun State.
The deceased, who resided at Ilero Village, Atikori in Ijebu-Igbo, was reported lacking by one Jimoh Salau and Muibi Popoola on the Ijebu-Igbo Division on January 7.
Days after he was reported lacking the State Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
In accordance with Odutola, the complainants reported that they’d searched in all places and reached out to different relations and associates, but no constructive response was obtained.

She famous that the complainants added {that a} day later, the decomposing corpse of the sufferer was present in Lukaran Forest in Atikori by a hunter.
Odutola stated, “Jimoh Salau, who was accompanied to the station by Muibi Popoola, each from the identical village because the late octogenarian, stated he was his uncle, and that every one efforts to find him proved abortive.”
She quoted Jimoh as saying, “Now we have nearly searched recognized locations, reached out to different relations and associates with out constructive clues. A day after, exactly on Thursday, January 9, the decomposing corpse of the sufferer was present in Lukaran Forest in Atikori by a hunter.”
The police spokesperson disclosed that efforts are ongoing to get well the decomposing corpse, and an investigation to unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding the demise has begun.
“Efforts are being made to get well the decomposing corpse,” Odutola added, “and the case is beneath investigation.”
