The Federal Authorities has reaffirmed its dedication to collaborate with the United Nations (UN) in implementing sustainable options to alleviate poverty and handle humanitarian challenges in Nigeria.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Discount, Prof. Nantawe Yilwatda, throughout a press briefing in Abuja on Friday.
The minister spoke after a strategic assembly with Amina Mohammed, the UN Deputy Secretary-Basic.
Yilwatda famous that the UN had been an important ally in supporting Nigeria’s social intervention applications, serving to the federal government actualize its poverty discount objectives.
He emphasised that this renewed partnership aligns with the Federal Authorities’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on tackling youth unemployment, poverty, and the challenges confronted by victims of battle and local weather change.
