Authorities of the Osun State Police command have begun investigation into the alleged promoting of a home belonging to late Pa Azeez Rauf by one his sons, recognized as Mutiu Rauf Okunola, who allegedly exhumed his dad and mom corpses buried within the premises.
Findings indicated that the promoting of the property, situated round Dada Property of Osogbo, Osun State have generated ripples amongst the siblings.
The opposite kids of the late Mr and Mrs Azeez Rauf accused their sibling, Rauf Mutiu Okunola, also called Tato, of promoting their late dad and mom’ property and exhuming their corpses with out the consent of the opposite kids.
The dispute was mentioned to have begun when Mrs Adedoyin Rukayat, one of many surviving kids, found that the household property had been offered by Mutiu.
Other than promoting the home, Rukayat, who spoke to journalists, additionally alleged that her brother exhumed the stays of their dad and mom with out informing or consulting different kids—Rukayat, Fatimo, Khadijat, Teslim and Qouadr Rauf.
Disturbed by these actions, Rukayat reported the case to Dada Property Police Station in Osogbo, which led to the arrest of Mutiu on December 31, 2024.
