Gunmen, believed to be members of the Lakurawa terrorist group, have killed two policemen and rustled over 200 cows from Natsini village in Argungu Native Authorities Space, Kebbi State, Day by day Belief experiences.
The assault occurred on Thursday round 11 p.m.
Sources from the village reported that the policemen have been stationed at a checkpoint alongside the Augie/Kangiwa highway when the assailants, numbering over 50 and using bikes, launched the assault. They killed the 2 officers and proceeded to rustle the cows from the village.
Natsini village lies alongside the Augie/Kangiwa highway, roughly 5 kilometers from Argungu city.
An area, Abubakar Augie, advised *Weekend Belief* that the cows belonged to Lawali Black, a distinguished civil servant within the space.
He defined, “The Lakurawa have been greater than 50 on bikes; after overpowering the few policemen on the checkpoint, they went to the place the cows have been saved in his ranch and took them.”
Native authorities chairman Aliyu Gulma confirmed the incident to our correspondent. He acknowledged {that a} safety assembly was underway on the council stage, and the state authorities had ordered safety forces to pursue the terrorists and recuperate the stolen cattle.
