An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kano State, Nasir Aminu-Ja’oji, has disbursed N50m money grants to 1,000 occasion members comprising youths and ladies.
Presenting the cash at a ceremony on Saturday in Kano, Ja’oji stated the gesture was to allow them to have interaction in petty companies and be self-reliant.
Ja’oji who’s a member of the Governing Council of the Federal School of Schooling (Technical), Potiskum, stated every beneficiary would get N50,000.
“This programme is designed to assist cushion the results of the tough financial realities going through our society and to form the way forward for our nation.
“My hope is to all the time give a serving to hand to enhance President Tinubu’s administration efforts to empower youths and ladies.”
He tasked the beneficiaries on expertise acquisition, including that in September, he supported 484 youths and ladies with related money grants and scholarships.
In his message on the event, the Minister for Youths Growth, Mr Ayodele Olawande, recommended Ja’oji for the gesture which he stated was according to the coverage of Tinubu administration.
“This initiative is according to the coverage of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration which inspires and helps empowering youths and ladies within the nation,” the minister stated.
The Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman, recommended Ja’o’ji for his dedication to selling girls’s empowerment and growth.
She recommended President Tinubu, for his unwavering dedication to advancing girls’s empowerment and gender equality in Nigeria.
Additionally, the Kano State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, applauded Honorable Ja’o’ji’s gesture, stating that the occasion has acknowledged his efforts and can reciprocate on the proper time.
The occasion was attended by APC Nationwide Chairman’s consultant, authorities officers, and different distinguished personalities.
