The Labour Party (LP) has introduced its intention to pursue authorized motion towards lawmakers and different elected officers defecting to different political events with out relinquishing their mandates.
New Telegraph had earlier reported that 4 Labour Party lawmakers defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) with out citing the explanation for his or her defection.
The defecting lawmakers are Tochukwu Chinedu Okere (Imo), Donatus Matthew (Kaduna), Akiba Bassey (Cross River), and Esosa Iyawe (Edo).
