4 youngsters kidnapped from Millennium Metropolis, Chikun Native Authorities Space of Kaduna State, have been rescued and reunited with their households.
The youngsters had been handed over to Governor Uba Sani by the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu.
Asserting the event, Governor Sani said, “The 4 youngsters kidnapped from Millennium Metropolis have been launched and handed over to me by Malam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser. I’ve reunited them with their dad and mom.”
The rescue was achieved as a part of a peace settlement facilitated by the Peace Dialogue Group, a collaborative initiative between the Kaduna State Authorities and the Workplace of the National Security Adviser.
Governor Sani elaborated on the strategy adopted throughout the negotiations “We had been deliberate and strategic in dealing with the peace negotiations, specializing in confidence-building and addressing the belief deficits which have undermined earlier peace efforts,” he mentioned.
