The Anambra State Police Command has rescued two feminine kidnap victims and arrested 4 suspects.
Disclosing this in a press assertion, yesterday, the state police spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, mentioned police operatives hooked up to the Oba Police Divisional Headquarters in Idemili South Native Authorities Space of the state led the operation.
He mentioned the victims had been rescued and the suspects arrested after a ransom of N200,000 was paid for the discharge of the victims.
He mentioned, “Police operatives hooked up to the Oba Police Divisional Headquarters in Idemili South Native Authorities Space November 27, 2024, by 11:54 am, arrested one infamous kidnapper and three different accomplices after a ransom of 200 thousand naira was paid for the discharge of the victims in captivity.
“The operatives additionally rescued two feminine victims between the ages of 15 and 19 years in Oba, Idemili South Native Authorities Space of Anambra State.
