Osun The New Nigeria People’s State Association Party (NNPP) on Thursday vowed to oust Governor Ademola Adeleke in the 2026 gubernatorial election.
The NNPP made this statement while opening its offices in Ila, Boripe and Ifelodun Local Government Areas of the state Osun, thereby dispelling the fury of the Peoples Democratic Party Party(PDP).
The Chairman of the NNPP Osun, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, while at the event, expressed optimism about the party’s potential in the next elections, expressing frustration over the incumbent administration and the economic challenges facing the state.

“The ongoing economic difficulties have caused the APC to lose relevance at the national level as the PDP administration of Osun is struggling to demonstrate its governance capabilities.
“This presents us with a clear opportunity to end Adeleke’s rule,” Odeyemi said.
In his reaction to the NNPP statement, however, refuted the Osun PDP claims as mere lip service, claiming that Governor Adeleke’s achievements will ensure his re-election.
