Personnel of the Nigerian Military’s 14 Brigade, Ohafia and gunmen in Mbata, Umuchima Village, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State have re- portedly been engaged in a fierce gun battle.
Studies mentioned that over 15 Hilux autos and ar- mored personnel carriers arrived at Umuchima vil- lage round 6 a.m, focusing on suspected gunmen.
The gunmen have been re- portedly camped close to a river that marks the boundary between Abia and the Mbaise axis of Imo State.
In keeping with the report, troopers have taken management of key junctions main out and in of the village, whereas others have interaction the gunmen in close by bushes.
