President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday set aside political differences to congratulate former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on his 78th birthday.
The President conveyed his birthday wishes through his Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Sunday Dare.
Tinubu acknowledged Atiku’s longstanding role in Nigeria’s democratic process since the return to civilian rule in 1999.
Reflecting on their shared political journey, Tinubu noted memorable moments with Atiku as founding members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“The President recognises Atiku’s commitment to public service and philanthropy, and prays Almighty Allah to continue to grant him health and happiness in the years ahead,” the statement read.
