    Senator Barau Donates 1,000 Bikes to Kano Police for Improved Safety

    The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has given 1,000 bikes to the Kano State Police Command to assist safety and operational effectivity within the state.

    The handover happened on Saturday on the command’s headquarters in Bompai, Kano.

    The donation is meant to assist cops patrol distant areas and reply rapidly to emergencies, strengthening the state’s safety.

    Senator Barau, who represents Kano North, acknowledged the police power’s work in guaranteeing security. “Your efforts to safeguard our communities are appreciated, and that is one method to equip you to carry out higher,” he stated.

    The Senator additionally talked about plans to increase the initiative to all the state, with extra bikes for Kano Central and South senatorial zones within the coming months.

    “That is just the start. We’ve prioritized Kano North for now, however the subsequent section will cowl different zones to make sure all officers within the state are geared up,” he added.

    Kano State Commissioner of Police, Salman Dogo Garba, thanked the Senator for the donation, calling it a lift for the power.

    He assured the general public that the bikes can be used to fight crime and keep peace within the state.

    The donation is a part of efforts to take care of safety in Kano by means of collaboration between safety companies and group stakeholders.
