Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya, the Government Director of Residents for Growth and Schooling (CDE), has dismissed claims of his suspension from the Kano Civil Society Discussion board (KCSF) as baseless and unconstitutional.
In a press assertion launched via his media aide, Bahir A. Bashir, Waiya criticized the actions of the KCSF Board of Trustees (BOT), led by Professor Mohammad Tabiu, describing them as overreaching and missing authorized benefit.
The suspension, allegedly introduced by Alhaji Hamisu Isa Sherifai, who recognized himself because the BOT Secretary, was reported broadly on social media. Nonetheless, Waiya questioned the legality of the BOT’s choice, asserting that the KCSF structure doesn’t grant the BOT government powers to droop registered members.
