A former councillor of Kwankwaso Ward in Madobi Native Authorities Space of Kano State, Yahaya Sa’idu Kwankwaso, together with different members of the New Nigeria Folks’s Party (NNPP), has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Madobi is the hometown of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NNPP nationwide chief and 2023 presidential candidate.
The defectors, together with Abdulhamid Ahmad Diso, a former Deputy Speaker of Gwale LGA (Diso Ward), and Shu’aibu Isa Kubaraci, introduced their defection throughout a go to to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, at his residence.
