The Lagos State Authorities has sealed Ile Iyan, a preferred restaurant providing Nigerian dishes in Ikeja GRA, over allegations of noise air pollution and environmental infractions.
Officers from the Lagos State Environmental Safety Company (LASEPA) carried out the enforcement motion on Friday following persistent complaints from residents and neighbours concerning the institution’s disruptive operations.
Lagos State Commissioner for Setting and Water Sources, Tokunbo Wahab, introduced the closure in a submit on X (previously Twitter), sharing a video that vividly captured the grievances of a visitor on the primary flooring of the Radisson Blu resort.
