    Troops Arrest 12 Suspected Kidnappers In Taraba Rescue Operation

    Troops of the Nigerian Military deployed for rescue operations in Taraba State have arrested 12 suspected kidnappers.

    The abductors had been reportedly apprehended after a misery name from residents of Chachanji village concerning the kidnapping of two people by a bunch of 10 armed males on bikes.

    In an announcement posted on X.com yesterday, the Military mentioned 14 bikes, two luggage of Indian hemp, and a domestically made pistol had been recovered through the rescue operation.

    The assertion partly learn, “Upon making contact with the armed group, the superior firepower of the troops pressured the abductors to withdraw deep into the bush, forsaking their domestically fabricated pistol and two luggage of Indian hemp.

    “The troops’ thorough exploitation of the realm prevented additional legal exercise and disrupted the abductors’ operations.” The assertion, nonetheless, revealed that in a follow-up operation, the troops arrested the 12 suspects and seized 14 bikes at a neighborhood ingesting joint in Mb – hakyir village, near Agu Centre, on Nov. 9.

    “Throughout an intensive investigation, the arrested suspects admitted to being a part of the kidnapping operation and recognized their chief as Veior John Gata, a infamous terrorist who has been on the needed checklist of safety businesses for orchestrating legal actions in elements of southern Taraba and Benue states,” the assertion added.
