A suspected Improvised Explosive System (IED) reported at Murtala Approach, beside Previous JUTH fence, sparked panic amongst residents early yesterday.
Nonetheless, an announcement by the Police Public Relations Officer of plateau State Command, DSP Alfred Alabo, mentioned the Police swiftly responded, deploying bomb technicians from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit.
Based on him, the Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Olugbemiga Adesina, mobilised the Anti-Bomb Squad and Divisional Police Officer (DPO) “C” Division to evaluate and neutralise the menace.
