Two brothers have been remanded in a Correctional centre by the Kaduna State Excessive Court docket for alleged culpable murder and armed theft.
Justice Aisha Shagari ordered the remand of the defendants on Tuesday after they pleaded not responsible to the cost most popular towards them.
The brothers, Hamza Jibrin, age 27, and Yusuf Jibrin age 24, are charged with conspiracy, armed theft, and culpable murder.

In line with the Prosecutor, James Edward, the defendants and two others at massive, whereas armed with machetes and different harmful weapons alongside Airport Highway, Kaduna, on Nov. 7, robbed and brought on the dying of a 26-year-old man, Rabiu Sani.
He added that the defendants stole the deceased’s HP laptop computer, two cell telephones, and pockets, which contained two ATM playing cards and a money sum of N30,000.
Edward burdened that the offense is punishable below the Theft and Firearms ( Particular Provision) Act LFN, 2004.
The Defence counsel, Habiba Usman, had pleaded with the courtroom to grant her shoppers bail, including that the defendants could be of excellent habits and wouldn’t leap bail.
Nevertheless, Justice Aisha Shagari adjourned the matter till Dec. 12 for a listening to.
