The Yobe State Police Command has mentioned that it detained six individuals (names withheld) for allegedly stealing tricycles’ elements in Damaturu. That is contained in an announcement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, in Damaturu yesterday.
He mentioned operatives of the command arrested the suspects on Nov. 10 at Nayinawa, after receiving a misery name from Malam Musa Audu, a resident of the realm. Abdulkarim mentioned that the suspects had eliminated the elements from business tricycles parked within the space earlier than the arrests.
“On November 10, at 1400 hrs, the police acquired a misery name from Mal. Musa Audu of Nayi-Nawa, stating that six tires and 5 windshields of tricycles parked in his neighborhood had been stolen by suspected marauders at 0540 hrs the day gone by.
‘A’ Divisional Police Station swiftly responded, apprehending six syndicate members. “The suspects had been present in possession of 13 tricycle tires, six windshields, 4 crates of empty Coca-Cola bottles, two bicycles and one toolbox,” the spokesman mentioned.
