    Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, former State Minister of Housing, has urged that Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the APC’s 2023 gubernatorial candidate in Kano State, needs to be appointed to a ministerial place following his removing.

    In an interview with BBC, Gwarzo defined that the rationale for his removing was the necessity to allocate his ministerial seat to the central area of Kano, as there have been already too many politicians from the Kano North Senatorial District in federal positions.

    “If it’s true that the ministerial slot might be allotted to Kano Central, now we have our 2023 gubernatorial candidate, who can be our chief in Kano Central. Why not contemplate giving him the slot?” Gwarzo stated.

    He added that Gawuna’s present place doesn’t permit him to keep up monetary assist from his followers. “All his different colleagues who contested in different states got positions, such because the candidate from Plateau and Zamfara states,” Gwarzo famous.

    Gwarzo additional acknowledged that Gawuna needs to be supplied the place first, except he declines, during which case it may very well be given to another person.
