Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested the proprietor of three canine that allegedly attacked and killed a safety guard on the Pinnock Property within the Lekki space of the state.
In a viral video shared on X (previously Twitter) by a consumer with the deal with @itzbasito, the safety guard, who’s but to be recognized, was seen mendacity lifeless because the Boerboel canine approached his lifeless physique.
The consumer acknowledged that the canine proprietor unknowingly allowed the canine to roam freely, resulting in the assault that claimed the lifetime of the property guard on Monday night time. Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that following the unlucky mauling of a safety man to dying by three canine in Pinnock Property, Ilasan, Lekki on Tuesday, November 5.
Hundeyin in his verified X deal with on Tuesday stated that the State Police Command has arrested the proprietor of the canine, Salisu Mustapha and confiscated the canine pending the result of discreet investigations which have since commenced.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, he stated assures residents of the property and the complete folks of Lagos State that the continued investigations can be dropped at a conclusive finish and justice can be served as applicable.
