The Kano Peace Committee (KPC) has urged the Nigerian Medical Affiliation (NMA), Kano State Department, to rethink its plan for a mass motion following an alleged assault incident involving Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani, the Kano State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Discount, and a feminine physician.
In a press release by its Convener, Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya, the KPC expressed concern over the state of affairs and inspired the NMA to await the result of an investigative committee arrange by the Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
“The Kano Peace Committee is troubled by the incident,” Waiya acknowledged. “We share the NMA’s issues and acknowledge the efforts they make to serve Kano’s residents.”
The KPC emphasised the necessity for cooperation between the NMA and authorities companies, asking the affiliation to delay any mass motion till the committee completes its investigation.
“We attraction to the NMA to carry off on mass motion in consideration of Kano State’s residents,” Waiya added.
