A surprising incident occurred on Tuesday, when a business bus driver set himself, his bus, and a LASTMA officer ablaze in an try to evade arrest for a visitors offence.
The driving force, whose identification has not been disclosed, was intercepted by LASTMA officers for violating visitors laws on the Cele inward Mile-2 space.
In accordance with LASTMA Basic Supervisor, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, the driving force and his conductor resisted arrest with excessive aggression, resulting in the horrific incident. The bus, a Volkswagen T4 with license plate LSD 355 CK, was utterly destroyed within the fireplace.

“This surprising incident occurred on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, when the driving force resisted arrest with excessive aggression by LASTMA officers.
“The car had been intercepted for violating visitors laws within the Cele inward Mile-2 space.
“In the midst of arrest, the driving force and his conductor erupted right into a frenzy, resorting to pouring petrol on LASTMA personnel and fascinating in hostile confrontations and bodily assaults in opposition to officers current.
