The Omoluabi Progressives, a caucus throughout the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has known as on residents and Nigerians to dismissed a circulating poster portraying former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as a senatorial candidate for the 2027 election beneath the Individuals’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a press release issued on Tuesday in Osogbo, Oluwaseun Abosede, the Organising and Publicity Secretary of the caucus, labeled the poster as pretend, describing these spreading it as “Moschievous brokers of doom.”
In accordance with Abosede, Aregbesola stays a devoted member of the APC and has not switched allegiance to the PDP.
“It isn’t true and a pretend poster. Aregbesola remains to be a member of the All Progressives Congress and has at no time decamped to the Individuals’s Democratic Party,” he stated.
The assertion added that those that are jittery about Aregbesola’s hovering recognition and the success recorded by the caucus had been behind the pretend poster.
