Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental and Particular Offences Enforcement unit, often known as Taskforce, yesterday, confiscated no fewer than 70 bikes allegedly violating the ban on business bikes in elements of the state.
The Director of Public Affairs of the company, Abdulraheem Gbadeyan, in a press release, mentioned the enforcement would proceed till there may be whole compliance with the state environmental regulation.
In line with Gbadeyan, the bikes had been confiscated in a number of operations carried out in Okuta street junction in Bariga, Oba Akran street by Kodesoh beneath the bridge, Ikeja and Ladipo by 5 Star, alongside Oshodi-Apapa Expressway areas of the state.
He mentioned, “At the moment, the Lagos State Environmental and Particular Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce) confiscated seventy automobiles for flagrant violation of the Lagos State site visitors regulation as amended.
